We are convinced that knowledge is crucial to a long-term and sustainable improvement for the future of families. Therefore, we are now building a family center in the village of Bobikuma in Ghana. Bobikuma is surrounded by many small poor villages, poverty is evident and the level of education is low. The Family Center will serve as a support and education center for vulnerable families.

The family center in the village of Bobikuma will offer emergency housing for parents and children. During their stay at the center, we will educate the parent to enable a sustainable income and offer them support when leaving the orphanage, for example in any form of employment that can provide a steady income. We will also run a "Daycare center" to care for small children (0-6 years) while their parents work. To create the conditions for a fair distribution of influence, resources and opportunities for both men and women to influence their future. Sustainable consumption and production

On our land in Bobikuma we grow several crops. The harvest is distributed to needy families and the daily work is paid by persons who, in turn, can provide for their families. In the long run, the farm will contribute to self-sustaining the family center. The foundation also sells gift cards in favor of needy Bobikuma families. The gift cards contain b la chickens and goats that contribute to families' livelihoods.

The elementary school is free, but the family must pay for the children's uniform, school books and fees for exams. Expenses that many families cannot afford. We therefore work with the schools to support children with, for example, food, books, uniforms, shoes and exam fees. And by providing extra lessons and homework help for students who need support and motivation to cope with schooling.
